Census Information
Everything you want to know about the UK Census is here (and a bit more besides). Lots of interesting information and plenty of data but you'll need to register to be able to use it....probably more effort than it is worth.

National Statistics
National Statistics is the official UK statistics site with lots and lots of statistical information. You'll need a couple of days just to navigate your way around the site but the 'themes' page is a useful starting point for your journey.

Psychometric Tests
A most interesting and rather amusing site where you can access statistical information about various psychometric tests including anxiety, assertiveness, communication, emotional IQ, perfectionism and social anxiety.....very interesting!!

RoSPA
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) site is another useful source of accident statistics including road, home and work accidents...the site consists of a series of downloadable factsheets so enjoy.

Tourism facts and figures
An interesting site put together by the various UK tourist boards with a whole host of interesting facts and figures.....did you know that over 110 million day trips are made to Britain’s coastline each year...wow!

The Royal Statistical Society
The Royal Statistical Society would probably never forgive me for not mentioning their site although I suspect that the data won't be a lot of use to you - not unless you are in the slightest bit interested in geriatric patient bed occupancy....etc.

UK Data Archive
The UK Data Archive from the University of Essex informs me that it contains "the largest collection of readable data in the social sciences and humanities in the United Kingdom" and who am I to argue.

UK National Lottery Winning Numbers
It probably won't improve your chances on the lottery but it certainly will provide you with lots of statistical information about the National Lottery winning numbers, jackpots and numbers of winners.

Worldometer
Find out what is going on in the world by visiting this site which includes the current world population as it increases before your very eyes. Then check out births, deaths, cinema attendances, calories consumed and forest loss....plus a lot more besides.

Yahoo Search Engine
The Yahoo search engine provides a useful guide to statistical websites in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Mind you, I am rather loath to advertise their website when they can't be bothered to reference mine!!
