AS Guru Maths
This site is provided by the BBC and similar to the BBC Bitesize site (see below) offering information and support covering methods, pure and statistics. The content is very good and the graphics supportive...definitely a site to keep on your list of favourites.

Ask Dr. Math
This site, based in the USA, provides a question and answer service for mathematics students (and their teachers). The site also includes an interesting collection of Frequently Asked Questions including convincing responses to what is 0 to the power 0 and what is 0!

Easymaths GCSE
This site has developed a lot since it was first thrust onto the www. The site includes an interesting set of tutorial sessions as well as a series of Practice questions in the practice room. The work links well into GCSE and the occasional good humour makes it a worthwhile site to put in your favourites.

GCSE bitesize
Revision for KS3 and GCSE mathematics (as well as versions for Welsh and Scottish examination boards). A really good site to encourage your pupils to visit...it is user friendly and east to follow with a good balance of revision and test sections for you to work through.

math.com
Lists fractions, decimals, integers and exponents as "Hot Subjects" but the layout and content of this site is decidedly cold and there are too few topic areas and too much advertising ....you will also guess that the use of the word 'math' confirms this as an American site so maybe not too much use for the National Curriculum in the UK.

QuickMath
QuickMath is an automated service for answering common math problems over the internet....a sort of online calculator that solves equations and does all sorts of algebra and calculus problems. Who needs mathematics teachers (only joking!!)
